چکیده
The Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota evolution has remarkable spatiotemporal correlation with the destruction of North China craton though coupling mechanism remains enigmatic. was accompanied by intense magmatic activity and released volatiles nutrients might have had climatic environmental impacts on biotic evolution. In this study, we investigated mentioned hypothetical causal link determining concentrations total emissions volatile elements (S, F, Cl) bulk-rock P contents volcanic rocks that were erupted during pre-flourishing, flourishing post-flourishing stages Biota. Our results show volcanism near stage lower S (1,083–2,370 ppm), Cl (1,277–5,608 ppm) higher P2O5 (0.48–0.84 wt.%) than in non-flourishing 1,991–3,288 ppm, 7,915–12,315 ppm 0.17–0.23 wt.%. Fluorine three vary from 893 to 3,746 ppm. are minor (1–14 Gt S, 0.6–10 Cl, 0.6–9 F) but elevated (2–766 4–1,168 1–175 F). data suggest regional probably hindered species diversification. high flux lithospheric mantle-derived lavas peak time enhanced primary productivity contributed study provides insights into relationship between biosphere deep geodynamic processes driven volcanism.

New basal eutherian mammal from the Early Cretaceous Jehol biota, Liaoning, China.
A new genus and species of eutherian mammal, Acristatherium yanensis gen. et sp. nov., is described from the Early Cretaceous Jehol biota, China. The new taxon is based on a partial skull that is preserved in three dimensions from the Lujiatun bed of the Yixian Formation and dated 123.2+/-1.0 Ma. Its right upper and lower dentitions are nearly complete and it has a dental formula 4.1.5.3/3.1.5....
متن کاملHints of the Early Jehol Biota: Important Dinosaur Footprint Assemblages from the Jurassic-Cretaceous Boundary Tuchengzi Formation in Beijing, China
New reports of dinosaur tracksites in the Tuchengzi Formation in the newly established Yanqing Global Geopark, Beijing, China, support previous inferences that the track assemblages from this formation are saurischian-dominated. More specifically, the assemblages appear theropod-dominated, with the majority of well-preserved tracks conforming to the Grallator type (sensus lato), thus representi...
متن کاملThe first juvenile specimen of Manchurochelys manchoukuoensis from the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota
A small juvenile turtle is described from the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota, shedding light on the juvenile morphology and ontogeny of Manchurochelys manchoukuoensis. Several juvenile features are uncovered, such as a small and circular carapace (less than half of the adult), wide vertebral scales, and lateral carapacial fontanelles. In contrast to the adult morphology, which has an oval carapac...
